State of the Art Facilities
Our building was built in 1961 with additions added in 1976 and 1981. In 1994, the building was remodeled and up-dated. During the 2000-2002 school year, four new science rooms, a wellness center, and air conditioning were added. The structure includes 36 classrooms, a family and consumer science area, 2 gymnasiums, a guidance area, a pool, an auditorium, 2 music areas, a library, a kitchen, and a cafetorium. Grades K-12 use the music areas, the pool, the gymnasiums, and the auditorium.
In 2012, our Data Center underwent a complete overhaul. 15 servers were virtualized, resulting in a significant energy savings. All buildings are now on an 802.11n wireless network supporting smart classrooms and 1:1 computing. All classrooms are outfitted with Smartboards. Our internet service went from 5 Mbps in 2011 to 100 Mbps today with room to grow after converting to fiber optic service.
